Ulrike “Uli” Herzner is a fashion designer originally from East Germany.
Ula -“….Most of my pieces are made out of silk and are all very flowy, effortless, and free spirited, but have a little bohemian touch…”
Uli Herzner dreamed of becoming a fashion designer as a young girl living in East Germany. Uli started creating her first designs and sewing them together as early as the age of 12 .
Once the wall came down, she found herself living in Miami designing and becoming one of the most sought after fashion stylist for TV and Print. In Miami Uli was known for her flowing, printed resort wear dresses.
It was those dresses that got the attention of the producers for the the Bravo TV show “Project Runway”.
Uli went on the show winning runner up on season 3 and went on to become a finalist on Project Runway All-Stars season 2.
She is living in NYC, busy working at her alter in the Meatpacking District creating resort, ready to wear and one of a kind designs. Uli also still works as a stylist for TV and print clients.
Best remembered for her signature flowy, floral dress, Uli hosted her own web series, It’s Very Uli, on Plum TV.
Now she works as a freelance stylist and continues to advance her line.
Herzner sells her one-of-a-kind dresses at boutiques in Palm Beach and on her personal website.
